The Department of English organised a “Field Trip to Nature” on 5th December 2025. The day began with visits to a few nearby religious and culturally significant places.These visits added a sense of calm and positivity to the day, setting a meaningful tone for the rest of the trip.Following this, the group headed to the Planetarium, where students gained valuable insights into the wonders of the universe. The next stop was Saalumarada Thimmakka Teak Park in Manipal, a space that highlighted the importance of conservation and environmental awareness. Students explored the parkand learned about Thimmakka’s inspiring contribution to nature.
The trip then continued to Udbhav Vintage Resort in Mattu, Katpady, where everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch together. The serene environment of the resort, combined with fun games and team activities, brought joy and laughter to the group.
Later, the group visited the picturesque Mattu Beach, where the gentle waves and beautiful sunset added a perfect ending to the day.
Overall, it was a day filled with spiritual reflection, exploration, learning, bonding, and a deep connection with nature. The trip created unforgettable memories and offered students a refreshing break from routine, encouraging them to appreciate the beauty and value of the natural world.
