The HRD cell of Saint Mary's Syrian College Brahamavar hosted a comprehensive competitive exam awareness program for its students on April 13, 2024. The event featured Mr. Chandrakanth, the esteemed founder and Administrator of Naren Academy, as the guest speaker, imparting valuable insights into exam preparation strategies.

Convenors of the HRD cell graced the occasion, ensuring the smooth execution of the program. Students were enlightened on the significance of competitive exams and equipped with essential techniques to excel in them.

The initiative aimed to empower students with the necessary skills and knowledge to navigate through competitive examinations successfully. It garnered enthusiastic participation and appreciation from the student body, fostering a culture of academic excellence at the institution.

ಎಸ್.ಎಂ.ಎಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರ ಮತ್ತು ಮಂಗಳೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದ ಜಂಟಿ ಆಶ್ರಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಜರುಗಿದ ಉಡುಪಿ ವಲಯ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಪುರುಷರ ಅಂತರ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಪಂದ್ಯಾಕೂಟದಲ್ಲಿ  ಎಂ.ಎಸ್.ಆರ್.ಎಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಶಿರ್ವವನ್ನು 87 ರನ್ ನಿಂದ ಸೋಲಿಸಿದ ಆತಿಥೇಯ ಎಸ್.ಎಂ.ಎಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರ ಸತತವಾಗಿ ತೃತೀಯ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಶಿರ್ವ ಲೇಸ್ಲಿ ಡಿಸೋಜ ಮೆಮೋರಿಯಲ್ ಟ್ರೋಫಿಯನ್ನು ತನ್ನದಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿತು. 30 ಎಸೆತಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 56 ರನ್ ಸಿಡಿಸಿದ ಎಸ್.ಎಂ.ಎಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರದ ಧೀರಜ್ ತೃತೀಯ ಬಿ.ಎ ಇವರು ಪಂದ್ಯ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡರು. ಎಸ್.ಎಂ.ಎಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರದ ಇಮ್ರಾನ್, ತೃತೀಯ ಬಿ. ಕಾಮ್ ಇವರು ಪಂದ್ಯಾಕೂಟದ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಎಸೆತಗಾರ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಎಂ.ಎಸ್.ಆರ್.ಎಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಶಿರ್ವದ ಸ್ವರೂಪ್ ಇವರು ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಬ್ಯಾಟ್ಸ್ ಮ್ಯಾನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಎಸ್.ಎಂ.ಎಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರದ ಸಾಗರ್ ತೃತೀಯ ಬಿ.ಕಾಮ್ ಇವರು ಸರಣಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ  ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡರು. 

ಟಾಸ್ ಸೋತು ಬ್ಯಾಟಿಂಗ್ ಗೆ ಇಳಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಎಸ್ಎಂಎಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜ್ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರ ತಂಡವು ಆರಂಭಿಕಕಾರ ಧೀರಜ್ ಅವರ ಅರ್ಧಶತಕ, ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ವಸ್ತಿಕ್, ಸಾಗರ್, ದಿವ್ಯಾಂಶೂ, ಶಬರೀಶ್ ಇವರ ಉಪಯುಕ್ತ ಆಟದಿಂದ ನಿಗದಿತ 20 ಓವರ್‌ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 4 ವಿಕೆಟ್ ನಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ198 ರನ್ ಗಳ ಸವಾಲಿನ ಮೊತ್ತವನ್ನು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿತು. ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಆಡಲಿಳಿದ ಎಂ ಎಸ್ ಆರ್ ಎಸ್ ಶಿರ್ವ ತಂಡವು ನಿಗದಿತ 20 ಓವರ್ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇವಲ 111 ರನ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಷ್ಟೇ ಶಕ್ತವಾಯಿತು. ಎಸ್ಎಂಎಸ್ ಪರ ವಿಕಾಸ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಗರ್ ತಲಾ ಎರಡು ವಿಕೆಟ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದು ಮಿಂಚಿದರು. 

ಸಮಾರೋಪ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಓ.ಎಸ್.ಸಿ ಎಜುಕೇಶನಲ್ ಸೊಸೈಟಿಯ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ರೆ.ಫಾ.ಲಾರೆನ್ಸ್ ಡಿಸೋಜ,  , ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಯವರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಲೆನ್ ರೋಹನ್ ವಾಜ್, ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಆಲ್ಬರ್ಟ್ ರೋನಿ ಡಿಸಿಲ್ವ, ಮಂಗಳೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಪಂದ್ಯಾಕೂಟದ ವೀಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಬಿಜು ಜೆಕಾಬ್,  ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ. ಮಂಜುನಾಥ ಉಡುಪ ಕೆ., ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ದೈಹಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ  ಶ್ರೀ ವೆಂಕಟೇಶ ಭಟ್, ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ತರಬೇತುದಾರರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಲಿಂಗಪ್ಪ, ಎಂ.ಎಸ್.ಆರ್.ಎಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ದೈಹಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಸೌಮ್ಯ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಸಮಾರೋಪ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಂದ್ಯಕೂಟದ ವಿಜೇತರಿಗೆ ಓ.ಎಸ್.ಸಿ ಎಜುಕೇಶನಲ್ ಸೊಸೈಟಿಯ ವತಿ ಯಿಂದ ನಗದು ಬಹುಮಾನ ನೀಡಿ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
