On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, the National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers from Saint Mary's Syrian College, Brahmavar, came together to launch the "Swachatha Bharatha Abhiyan" (Clean India Campaign) at Murdeshwar. This initiative aimed to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, by taking a step towards his vision of a clean and self-reliant India.

Armed with brooms, trash bags, and a strong sense of purpose, the NSS volunteers meticulously cleaned the Railway Station premises and the surrounding areas. Their dedication and enthusiasm were remarkable, as they collected litter, removed plastic waste, and ensured the surroundings were pristine. 

The "Swachatha Bharatha Abhiyan" by the NSS volunteers of Saint Mary's Syrian College, Brahmavar, serves as an inspiring example of how the youth of the nation are actively participating in initiatives that align with Mahatma Gandhi's vision. Saint Mary's Syrian College Student Clinches Bronze in State Level Wrestling Competition

In a remarkable display of skill and determination, Mr. Rakshath, a third-year B.Com 'B' student of Saint Mary's Syrian College, Brahmavar, secured the bronze medal at the prestigious State Level Dasara CM Cup Wrestling competition held at Mysore. The competition, which brought together some of the finest wrestling talents from across the state, witnessed fierce battles on the mat. Rakshath's stellar performance and unwavering resolve earned him a well-deserved spot on the podium.

10/10/2023 ರ ಮಂಗಳವಾರದಂದು ಸೈಂಟ್ ಮೇರಿಸ್ ಸಿರಿಯನ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರ ಇಲ್ಲಿಯ 2023-24 ರ ಸಾಲಿನ ಎನ್.ಎಸ್.ಎಸ್. ಘಟಕಗಳ  "ಉದ್ಘಾಟನ ಸಮಾರಭದ" ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು  ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.

 ಉದ್ಘಾಟನ ಸಮಾರಭದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ  ಡಾ. ಮಂಜುನಾಥ ಉಡುಪ ಕೆ. ಇವರು ವಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. *ಉದ್ಘಾಟಕರಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀಯುತ ನಾಗರಾಜ್.ಜಿ.ಎಸ್, ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರು, ಸರಕಾರಿ ಪದವಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಉಡುಪಿ* ಇವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ *ಎನ್. ಎಸ್. ಎಸ್. ನ ಬಣ್ಣಗಳ ಮಹತ್ವ ಹಾಗೂ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಉದಾಸೀನ ಮಾಡದೆ ಉತ್ಸಾಹಕರಾಗಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಕೆಲಸ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು ನಾನು ಮಾಡಿಯೇ ತೀರುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎನ್ನುವಂತಹ  ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಬೇಕು ಎನ್ನುವ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು.* ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಎನ್.ಎಸ್.ಎಸ್. ಘಟಕಗಳ ಯೋಜನಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಾದ ಮಮತಾ ಮೇರಿ ಅಮ್ಮನಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ , ಎನ್.ಎಸ್.ಎಸ್. ಘಟಕಗಳ ಸಹಯೋಜನಾಧಿಕಾರಿಯಾದ  ಸುಪ್ರೀತಾ ನಮ್ಮ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕ - ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕೇತರ ವೃಂದದವರು,

ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ 2022-23 ರ ಸಾಲಿನ ಎನ್. ಎಸ್ ಎಸ್. ನ ಹಿರಿಯ ನಾಯಕರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಾಗತವನ್ನು ಅಂಕಿತಾ, ಉದ್ಘಾಟಕರ ಪರಿಚಯವನ್ನು ಶಿಲ್ಪ, ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞಾ ವಿಧಿಯನ್ನು ಯಜ್ನೇಶ್, ಧನ್ಯವಾದವನ್ನು ಸುದರ್ಶನ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ನಿರೂಪಣೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹ ಮತ್ತು ಶಶಾಂಕ್ ಇವರು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು.

On 10-10-2023   Department of Library and Department of Kannada jointly Organised a Book exhibition on the occassion of Birth aniversary of Jnanapeitha Awardee Kota Shivarama Karantha ,who was well-known Kannada Writer, Social activist, Yakshagana Artist, Environmentalist,  born on 10th October 1902, in Kota near Udupi.
