Artistia 2K25
The Humanities Association of Saint Mary’s Syrian College, Brahmavar, successfully organised “Artistia 2K25 – A Canvas of Culture and Creativity” for the B.A. students, bringing together a vibrant blend of talent, innovation, and artistic expression. The event, held under the IQAC initiative, witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across all semesters.
A variety of creative and intellectually stimulating competitions were conducted, including Craft Making, Model Making, Rangoli, Videography, Memory Test, Dance, and Fun Games. Each event showcased the imagination and skills of the participants, turning the campus into a lively hub of colours, ideas, and youthful energy.The programme featured two distinguished Chief Guests on the same day.
Mr. Daniel Monteiro, Retired Office Superintendent of S.M.S. College and Guinness World Record holder for the largest collection of bird-themed stamps, inaugurated the morning session and motivated students with his inspiring achievements . Dr.Jayaram shettigar a sepcial invitee , active member of alumini association and office superintendent Mrs.Voilentine Lewis and staff and students were present.The valedictory programme in the afternoon was graced by Mr. James Oliver, Retired Physical Education Director, Pompei College, Aikala, and alumnus of SMS College, who congratulated the students and encouraged them to pursue excellence in all fields.
Principal Dr. Robert Rodrigues J., IQAC Coordinator Lt. Ashwin Shetty A., and Humanities Association Convenor Mrs. Helmina Mary Mamatha appreciated the efforts of the organising team and commended the active participation of the students.The event concluded with the distribution of prizes to the winners, over all championship trophy to the best performing class (I BA I Batch) ,which was sponsored by family of late John Richard Roche ,marking a memorable celebration of creativity and cultural spirit on campus.
