Brahamavar, August 14, 2024:

 Saint Mary's Syrian College, Brahamavar, proudly announces the appointment of Dr. Robert Rodrigues as the new Principal. Dr. Rodrigues, a distinguished academician with a long-standing career in education, brings a wealth of experience and a visionary outlook to the college. He has previously served in various academic leadership roles and is well-known for his commitment to academic excellence and student development.

On the same occasion, the college also welcomed Mr. Prasanna Shetty as the new Vice Principal. 

The college community is enthusiastic about this new leadership and looks forward to the positive changes they will bring to enhance the academic and co-curricular environment at Saint Mary's Syrian College. The management, staff, and students extend their heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Robert Rodrigues and Mr. Prasanna Shetty as they take on their new roles.

ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರ: ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನದ ಪಿತಾಮಹ ಡಾ. ಎಸ್ ಆರ್ ರಂಗನಾಥನ್‌ರವರ ಜನ್ಮದಿನದ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಎಸ್.ಎಂ.ಎಸ್. ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ  ದಿನಾಂಕ ೧೨-೦೮-೨೦೨೪ ರಂದು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ  ಗ್ರಂಥಪಾಲಕರ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ. ಮಂಜುನಾಥ ಉಡುಪರವರು ರಂಗನಾಥನ್‌ರವರ ಛಾಯಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಪುಷ್ಪವನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು. ಕಛೇರಿ ಅಧೀಕ್ಷಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸೆಲಿನ್ ಬಾಂಜ್, ಬೋಧಕ, ಬೋಧಕೇತರ ವರ್ಗ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಗ್ರಂಥಪಾಲಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸುರೇಖಾ, ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯ ಸಹಾಯಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸತೀಶ ಹಾಗೂ ದ್ವಿತೀಯ  ದರ್ಜೆ ಸಹಾಯಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪ್ರಮೀಳ ಡಿಸಿಲ್ವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರ, ಆ. 1:  SMS ಬ್ಯಾಡ್ಮಿಂಟನ್ ಫ್ರೆಂಡ್ಸ್  ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರದ ಸೈಂಟ್ ಮೇರಿಸ್ ಸಿರಿಯನ್ ಕಾಲೇಜಿಗೆ ವಾಟರ್  ಪ್ಯೂರಿಫೈರ್  ಕೊಡುಗೆಯಾಗಿ  ನೀಡಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಕಲಿಕೆಯ ಅನುಕೂಲಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಈ ಮಹತ್ವದ ದಾನವನ್ನು ಕಾಲೇಜು ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿಯವರು ಆದರದಿಂದ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದರು. ಇಂತಹ ಸಮಾಜಮುಖಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಸಮಾಜದ ಉನ್ನತಿಗೆ ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಗಲಿ ಎಂದು SMS ಬ್ಯಾಡ್ಮಿಂಟನ್ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರು ಆಶಯ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

ಎಸ್ ಎಂ ಎಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿ -ರೀಚ್ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿಯ ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ದಿನಾಂಕ 23-7-2024 ರಂದು ಸಿ. ಎ, ಸಿ.ಎಸ್ ಕೋರ್ಸ್ ಕುರಿತ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಕಿರು ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ವಿ- ರಿಚ್ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿಯ ಶ್ರೀ ನಾಗೇಶ್ ರವರು ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ. ಮಂಜುನಾಥ ಉಡುಪ ಕೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

On 23rd July 2024, SMS College inaugurated classes for CA and CS courses for the academic year 2024-25. The event featured Mr. Nagesh from V-Reach Academy, Udupi, who provided detailed information about the CA and CS courses. He highlighted the importance of pursuing these courses for a successful career.

The program was presided over by Principal Dr. Manjunath Udupa, who motivated the students to work hard to achieve their goals of becoming professionals by completing the CA or CS courses.

SMS College Brahmavar and SMS Badminton Friends Organize Badminton Premier League Season 3,On 20th July 2024, SMS College Brahmavar, in collaboration with SMS Badminton Friends, successfully organized the third season of the Badminton Premier League. 

The event saw enthusiastic participation and was graced by several notable guests during the inauguration.The dignitaries present included:Mr. Alvaris D'Silva, College Section Secretary, OSCE Brahmavar, Mr. Herick D'Souza, Sports Secretary, OSCE Mr. Tejasvi, Sub Inspector, Crime, Brahmavar Police Station, Mr. Shrikanth K., Deputy Superintendent of Police, Lokayukta Mangalore, Mr. Madhu B., Sub Inspector, Brahmavar Police Station, Mr.venkatesh bhat, physical Education director,SMs college,Dr. Manjunath Udupa K., Principal, SMS College.

The league featured five franchise teams, owned by:Mr.Ashok Ganiga,Mr.Rakshith Barkuru,Mr.Pramod Shetty, Mr.Annappa Ganiga ,Mr Rexon Monis.

In a thrilling conclusion to the event, the team "SMS Royals," owned by Pramod Shetty, emerged victorious. The runners-up were "SMS Warriors," owned by Annappa Ganiga.The Badminton Premier League Season 3 was a resounding success, bringing together sports enthusiasts and promoting the spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork.
