ದಿನಾಂಕ 21/08/2025 ರ ಗುರುವಾರದಂದು, ಎಸ್.ಎಂ.ಎಸ್. ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಐ ಕ್ಯೂ. ಎ.ಸಿ. ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾದಕ ವ್ಯಸನ ವಿರೋಧಿ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಸಂಘ ಮತ್ತು ಆ್ಯಂಟಿ ರಾಗಿಂಗ್ ಸೆಲ್ ನ ಸಂಯುಕ್ತ ಆಶ್ರಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಶಾ ಮುಕ್ತ ಭಾರತ ಎನ್ನುವ ಶೀರ್ಷಿಕೆ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾದಕ ದ್ರವ್ಯಗಳ ವ್ಯಸನ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಯಿತು.

ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಘನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಓ.ಎಸ್. ಸಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ರೆ|| ಫಾ|| ಎಂ.ಸಿ ಮಥಾಯಿ ಇವರು ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ ಡಾ|| ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ತೋಳಾರ್ ಶ್ರೀಮಾತಾ ಹಾಸ್ಪಿಟಲ್ ಕುಂದಾಪುರ, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯ ಠಾಣಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಆಗಿರುವ ವಿಠಲ್. ಎಂ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ|| ರೋಬರ್ಟ್ ರೋಡ್ರಿಗಸ್,ಉಪ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಕ್ಷೇಮ ಪಾಲನಾ ಸಂಘದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷನಾಗಿರುವ ವಿಘ್ನೇಶ್ ಇವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳಾದ ಡಾ. ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ತೋಳರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿಠಲ ಎಂ ಇವರು ಮಾದಕ ವ್ಯಸನದಿಂದ ಆಗುವ ದುಷ್ಪರಿಣಾಮಗಳು, ಅದರ ತಡೆಗಟ್ಟುವಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯುವ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಪಾತ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ನೇರ ಸಂವಹನವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಸನದ ಅರಿವನ್ನು ಜಾಗೃತಿಗೊಳಿ ಸುವುದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಶಾ ಮುಕ್ತ ಭಾರತದ ಕನಸನ್ನು ನನಸುಗೊಳಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಸಂಘದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷನಾದ ವಿಫ್ನೇಶ್ ಇವರು ನಶಾ ಮುಕ್ತ ಭಾರತದ ಕುರಿತ

ಪ್ರಮಾಣವಚನವನ್ನು ಬೋಧಿಸಿದರು. 

ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ನಿರೂಪಣೆಯನ್ನು ಅನುಪಮ ಮತ್ತು ರೆಹನಾ ಸ್ವಾಗತವನ್ನು ಉಪ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ , ಧನ್ಯವಾದವನ್ನು ಕನ್ನಡ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರಾದ ಡಾ||ವಿದ್ಯಾಲತಾ ಇವರು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.

An Orientation Programme on CA/CS courses was organized at S.M.S College, Brahmavar to create awareness among students about the scope and opportunities in the professional fields of Chartered Accountancy and Company Secretaryship.

The Resource Person for the programme was CS Santhosh Prabhu, Founder of V-Reach Academy, Udupi, who delivered an insightful session on the importance of professional courses, career prospects, and the dedication required to succeed in these fields. His address motivated the students to take up the challenges of professional education with confidence.

The programme was graced by the presence of Dr. Robert Rodriguez, Principal of the College, Mr. Nagesh, Coordinator of V-Reach Academy, Udupi, and Mr. Shankar B, Administrative Officer, Company Secretary, Mangalore Chapter. Their encouragement and support added great value to the session.

The event began with a warm welcome by Lt. Ashwin Shetty, followed by the orientation talk. At the conclusion, Mr. Prashanth Devadiga proposed the Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the resource person, dignitaries, and participants.

ಎಸ್ ಎಂ ಎಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಕ್ಷೇಮಪಾಲನ ಸಂಘದ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಸಮಾರಂಭವು ದಿನಾಂಕ 20.08.2025. ರಂದು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಡಾ. ಬಿ. ವಿ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆರವೇರಿತು. ಓ ಎಸ್ ಸಿ ಎಜುಕೇಶನಲ್ ಸೊಸೈಟಿಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ರೆ. ಫಾ ಎಂ.ಸಿ. ಮಥಾಯಿ ಇವರು ಸಮಾರಂಭದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.  ಶ್ರೀ ಕೃಷ್ಣಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ಗ್ರೂಪ್ ಆಫ್ ಇಂಡಸ್ಟ್ರಿಯ ನಿರ್ವಾಹಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಂಪತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಇವರು ದೀಪ ಬೆಳಗಿಸಿ ಸಂಘದ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆಯನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಭವ್ಯ ಭವಿಷ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲು ಹಾಗೂ ಬದುಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಸಾಧಿಸಲು ಅವಶ್ಯಕವಿರುವ ಬದುಕಿನ 5 ಸೂತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಸೂಕ್ತ ನಿದರ್ಶನಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮನಮುಟ್ಟುವಂತೆ ತಿಳಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

 ಓ ಎಸ್ ಸಿ ಎಜುಕೇಶನಲ್ ಸೊಸೈಟಿಯ ಕಾಲೇಜು ವಿಭಾಗದ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಲ್ವರಿಸ್ ಡಿಸಿಲ್ವ, ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ ರಾಬರ್ಟ್ ರೊಡ್ರಿಗಸ್, ಉಪಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರದ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಸಂಘದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರತಿಮಾ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ಸಹನಿರ್ದೇಶಕಿಯಾದ ಕು. ಸುಪ್ರೀತಾ, ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಹಳೆವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಸಂಘದ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಚಿನ್, ರಕ್ಷಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ಸಂಘದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪುಷ್ಪ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಕ್ಷೇಮಪಾಲನ ಸಂಘದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ವಿಘ್ನೇಶ್ ಪೈ, ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಪವನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸೃಷ್ಠಿ, ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಯಾದ ಸಿಂಚನ, ಉಪಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಯಾದ ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲ್ ಎಸ್. ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಪ್ರತೀಕ್ಷಾ, ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಯಾದ ಇಮ್ರಾನ್ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

Brahmavar: The athletes of SMS College, Brahmavar brought laurels to the institution by excelling at the Udupi District Junior Athletic Meet 2025 with remarkable performances in track events.

Charan (II B.A) won the Silver Medal in 5000 meters and the Bronze Medal in 1500 meters, showcasing his endurance and consistency on the track.

Koushik (I B.Com B) displayed outstanding athletic skills by securing the Gold Medal in 5000 meters and the Bronze Medal in 800 meters, making a strong mark in middle and long-distance running events.

The management, Principal ,Physical Education Director , faculty, alumni, PTA, and students have congratulated the winners for their dedication and sportsmanship.

With these achievements, SMS College has once again reaffirmed its reputation as a center of sporting excellence in Udupi District.

Brahmavar: In the Mangalore University Sports for the academic year 2024-25, SMS College, Brahmavar has once again secured First Place at the Udupi District level for the second consecutive year.

Students of the college have excelled in various sporting events, proving their talent and determination. Under the guidance of Physical Education Director Mr. Venkatesh Bhat, the students have showcased remarkable performances at both University and State-level competitions.

Principal Dr. Robert Rodrigues J., along with the faculty members and management, congratulated the sports team on this outstanding achievement and encouraged them to continue their winning spirit in the future as well.

By retaining the First Place for two consecutive years, SMS College has established itself as a leading institution in the field of sports in Udupi District.
