 One-Day State-Level Workshop Held at SMS College, Brahmavar

SMS College, Brahmavar, organised a one-day state-level workshop on State Education Policy: History - New Syllabus on November 6, 2024. The workshop was conducted by the college's IQAC in collaboration with the Department of History, Ancient History & Archaeology, and the Mangalore University History Teachers Association (Manusha).

Highlights of the Event:

The workshop was presided over by Rev. Fr. M.C. Mathai, with the keynote address delivered by Dr. Deepika Shetty, Professor at Manipal School of Architecture and Planning, MAHE. Guests of Honour included Mr. Santhosh Shetty and Mr. Sachin Poojary. The valedictory session was chaired by Dr. Robert Rodrigues, Principal of SMS College.

The sessions were enriched by resource persons Dr. Jayaram Shettigar (Milagres College, Kallianpur) and Prof. K. Gopal (Bhandarkar's College, Kundapura), who provided insightful lectures.

IQAC Coordinator Lt. Ashwin Shetty, Alumni President Dr Sakarama somajayi,  Manusha members, including Dr. Norbert Mascarenhas, Dr. Jayaraj N, Prof. Jyothi Shetty, Prof. Latha Nayak, and Prof. Ganesh Pai, were also present at the evet, along with deligates , invites and student. The event’s Master of Ceremony was handled by Mr. Bharath Raj S Nejar.
