The singing team of SMS College Brahmavar secured Second Place in Group Singing at the intercollegiate cultural fest Poornam Fest held at Poornaprajna Evening College, Udupi on 10 March 2026. The team delivered an impressive performance and brought laurels to the college.
International Women’s Day Celebrated at SMS College, Brahmavar
Brahmavar: International Women’s Day was celebrated at the auditorium of SMS College, Brahmavar in collaboration with the IQAC, Women’s Forum of the college, and Giant Group Brahmavar.
On the occasion, women who have been leading self-reliant lives through their hard work and dedication were felicitated. Mrs. Manisha, an auto-rickshaw driver, Mrs. Akkani Marakalti, a daily wage labourer, and Mrs. Shashikala, were honoured for their inspiring contributions to society.
During the program, a special initiative titled “Henninda Hennigagi” (From Women for Women), organized by the girl students of the college through voluntary fund collection, was inaugurated by the Principal of the college, Dr. Robert Rodrigues J., along with the coordinators of the Women’s Forum. The objective of the initiative is to utilize the collected funds every year to provide medical assistance to economically disadvantaged girl students.
The formal session was followed by cultural performances presented by the students. The program was presided over by the Principal, Dr. Robert Rodrigues J.The chief guests of the program were Mr. Annayya Das, President of Giant Group Brahmavar, and Mr. Vivek Kamath, Immediate Past President, along with Mrs. Prathibha.Lieutenant Ashwin Shetty, IQAC Coordinator of the college, Dr. Vidyalatha, Advisor of the Women’s Forum, student leaders Ms.Srushti, and Women’s Forum Secretary Ms.Amrutha were present on the occasion along with faculty members and students.
Sahaja Yoga Awareness Program organised at SMS College, Brahmavar
Brahmavar, March 5: A team from Sahaja Yoga conducted an awareness and training session on the importance of yoga and meditation at S.M.S. College, Brahmavar today.The program was organized to introduce students to the benefits of Sahaja Yoga and Kundalini Yoga for mental peace, physical health, and personality development. The Sahaja Yoga team, along with experienced yoga trainers, explained the concept of Kundalini awakening and its role in achieving inner balance and self-realization.
During the session, the trainers spoke about how regular practice of yoga and meditation helps reduce stress, improve concentration, and maintain emotional stability among students. They also demonstrated simple techniques of Sahaja Yoga meditation, which students practiced during the session.A guided meditation session was conducted where students experienced relaxation and mindfulness. The trainers encouraged students to practice meditation regularly to maintain a healthy mind and body.
The program received an enthusiastic response from students, who actively participated in the meditation session and interacted with the trainers to learn more about yoga practices.The college authorities appreciated the Sahaja Yoga team for organizing such an informative and beneficial session for the students.
Student of SMS College Secures 10th Rank in Mangalore University Examination
Brahmavar: A student of SMS College Brahmavar has brought laurels to the institution by securing a 10th Rank in the B.A. programme in the 2024–25 undergraduate examinations conducted by Mangalore University.
Ms. Fathima Shalula A. H., a student of the college, achieved this distinction through her outstanding academic performance. She is the daughter of Mr. Abdul Hakeem and Mrs. Shahanaz and is a resident of Tekkatte.
Her achievement has brought pride and recognition to the college community. The Management, Principal, faculty members, alumni, PTA, and students of SMS College Brahmavar have extended their heartfelt congratulations to her for this remarkable accomplishment and wished her continued success in her future academic and professional endeavors.

Bizhustle 2.0
On the occasion of the 46th Annual Sports Day ,the Department of Commerce , Commerce Association organised Bizhustle 2.0 – Turn Ideas into Income on 26/2/2026 , Wednesday.The program was a wonderful initiative for the B.Com students to showcase their entrepreneurial skills by setting up stalls and managing their own business activities. It was truly inspiring to witness the students’ creativity, teamwork, and business spirit in action. Their dedication and innovative ideas made the event meaningful and memorable.
Students from all the streams, along with the teaching and non-teaching staff of the college, the staff of the sister institution , invitees and well wishers visited the stalls and supported the students by purchasing items.
The HRD Cell of Saint Mary’s Syrian College, Brahmavar, organized a Career Guidance Programme for students on 23 February 2026 at the college auditorium.
The programme was designed to equip students with essential knowledge and direction regarding higher education and career opportunities. The session featured Mr. Vinaya Krishna and Mr. Ravi Kudtarkar as the resource persons. They delivered insightful presentations on diverse higher education prospects, preparation strategies for competitive examinations, employability skills required in the current job market, and emerging career trends across various sectors. Their interactive sessions encouraged students to explore their interests and prepare strategically for future challenges.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Robert Rodrigues, Principal of the College, who addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of informed career planning and skill development. Mr. Ashwin Shetty, IQAC Coordinator, along with Mrs. Asha T. K. and Mrs. Prathima, Convenors of the HRD Cell, were also present on the dais. ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರ: ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಎಸ್ಎಂಎಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು, ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರದಲ್ಲಿ 49 ಕಿಲೋವಾಟ್ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯದ ಸೌರ ಆನ್-ಗ್ರಿಡ್ ಪವರ್ ಪ್ಲಾಂಟ್ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಸಮಾರಂಭವು ವಿಜೃಂಭಣೆಯಿಂದ ನೆರವೇರಿತು. ಒಟ್ಟು ರೂ.16 ಲಕ್ಷ ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೋಜನೆ ಜಾರಿಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಕೆನರಾ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಸಿಆರ್ಎಸ್ ನಿಧಿಯಿಂದ ರೂ.10 ಲಕ್ಷ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿಯಿಂದ ರೂ.6 ಲಕ್ಷ ಅನುದಾನ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.

FREE CLOUD AWS SESSION
The Department of Computer Applications, in collaboration with the IT Association, organized a workshop on “CLOUD AWS SESSION” for Final Year BCA students on 17 February 2026. The session aimed to introduce students to cloud computing concepts and provide practical exposure to Amazon Web Services (AWS).
The workshop was conducted by Mr. Akshay K, Director and CEO of Enlivo Global Technology Private Limited. He explained the fundamentals of cloud computing, highlighted the importance of AWS in the IT industry, and discussed career opportunities in cloud technology. The session included a brief demonstration of key AWS services such as SNS and IAM, giving students a basic understanding of cloud deployment and management.
The interactive session helped students gain valuable insights into industry requirements and encouraged them to explore certifications and career opportunities in cloud computing.
Dr. B. Vasantha Shetty Memorial Guest Lecture Held at SMS College, Brahmavar
Brahmavar, February 18, 2026:
The IQAC in association with the Department of History, Ancient History and Archaeology of SMS College, Brahmavar, organized the Dr. B. Vasantha Shetty Memorial Guest Lecture on February 18, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. in the PG Koshi Auditorium.
The programme was conducted in fond remembrance of Dr. B. Vasantha Shetty, a pioneering archaeologist and historian of Coastal Karnataka who made significant contributions to the study of prehistoric and historic heritage, particularly in Barkur and the Udupi region.
The guest speaker for the occasion was Prof. Dr. Malathi K. Moorthi, Retired Professor of History, M.G.M. College, Udupi. In her insightful lecture, she highlighted the scholarly contributions of Dr. Shetty to archaeology, epigraphy, and the preservation of regional history. She emphasized his dedicated fieldwork, documentation of megalithic sites, and research on historic Barkur, which laid a strong foundation for archaeological studies in Coastal Karnataka.
The programme was presided over by Principal Dr. Robert Rodriguez J, who was also present on the dais. In his address, he appreciated the department’s initiative in commemorating the legacy of Dr. B. Vasantha Shetty and encouraged students to draw inspiration from the life and work of the distinguished scholar.
The programme was further graced by distinguished dignitaries including Dr. Jagadish Shetty, Director of the Rashtrakavi Govinda Pai Research Centre, Udupi, and Retired Principal of PPC College, Udupi. He spoke about Dr. Shetty’s academic legacy and his tireless efforts in promoting historical research in the region.Ms. Nirupama Shetty, daughter of Late Dr. B. Vasantha Shetty, was also present on the occasion and expressed gratitude to the institution for organizing the programme
Faculty members and students attended the programme and paid tribute to the late scholar. The event served as a meaningful platform to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. B. KYC Fraud and Financial Literacy Programme Held at SMS College, Brahmavar
Brahmavar, June 12, 2026:
The IQAC of SMS College, Brahmavar, in association with Mother Swayam Seva Grameena Abhivrudhhi Samsthe (R.), Rona, organized a KYC Fraud and Financial Literacy Programme on June 12, 2026, for first-year B.Com students. The programme was funded under the Financial Inclusion Fund and conducted under the aegis of the Depositors’ Education and Awareness Fund of the Reserve Bank of India.
The session aimed to create awareness among students about KYC-related frauds, digital banking risks, and the importance of financial literacy.
The resource person, Mr. Harish G, Lead District Divisional Manager of Canara Bank, delivered an informative session on various types of online financial frauds, phishing scams, and precautionary measures. He stressed that OTPs, PIN numbers, and confidential banking details should never be shared with anyone.
Principal Dr.Robert Rodrigues J,Mr. Varshith and Ms. Vani were also present on the dais, adding dignity to the programme. Their presence encouraged the students and highlighted the importance of financial awareness initiatives in educational institutions.
The programme witnessed active participation from the students, who interacted with the resource person and clarified their doubts. The event successfully enhanced awareness about safe banking practices and responsible financial behavior among the young learners.

ಸೈಂಟ್ ಮೇರಿಸ್ ಸೀರಿಯನ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರ ಇದರ ರಾಜ್ಯಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ವಿಭಾಗದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ 'ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆ'ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಪಬ್ಲಿಕ್ ಸ್ಕೂಲ್ ಪಿಯು ವಿಭಾಗ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಪಬ್ಲಿಕ್ ಸ್ಕೂಲ್ ಪಿಯು ವಿಭಾಗದ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರಾಗಿರುವ ವಾಸು ಮೊಗವೀರ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಎಡ್ವಲ್ಡ್ ಲಾರೆನ್ಸ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ,ನಿಯೋಜಿತ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರು, ರಾಜ್ಯಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ಎಸ್ ಎಮ್ ಎಸ್ ಪಿ ಯು ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರರವರು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಎಸ್.ಎಂ.ಎಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ ರಾಬರ್ಟ್ ರೋಡಿಗಸ್ ಜೆ , ರಾಜ್ಯಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾಗಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಮಮತಾ , ಅರ್ಥಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾಗಿರುವ ಭರತ್ ರಾಜ್ ಎಸ್ ನೇಜಾರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಪಬ್ಲಿಕ್ ಸ್ಕೂಲ್ ನ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರಾಗಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ವಂದನಾ ಮೇಡಂ ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿರುವ ಎಡ್ವಲ್ಡ್ ಲಾರೆನ್ಸ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಅವರು "ಭಾರತದ ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಕೇವಲ ಕಾನೂನು ಪುಸ್ತಕವಲ್ಲ. ಇದು ಜನರ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮಾಜವನ್ನು ಸಮಾನತೆಯ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುನ್ನಡೆಸುವ ಕಾನೂನು ದಿಕ್ಸೂಚಿ "ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತಮ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು. ಡಾ ರಾಬರ್ಟ್ ರೋಡಿಗಸ್ ಜೆ ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿ ಕೊಡುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವಿಕ ನುಡಿಗಳನ್ನಾಡಿದರು. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಮಮತಾ ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಪೀಠಿಕೆ ಭೋದಿಸಿ, ಸರ್ವರನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಪರಿಚಯವನ್ನು ಕು.ಚಿನ್ಮಯಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಧನ್ಯವಾದವನ್ನು ಭರತ್ ರಾಜ್ ಎಸ್ ನೇಜಾರ್ ಸಮಪಿ೯ಸಿದರು. ಮತ್ತು ಕು.ಅಭಿಜ್ಞಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.
The Department of English organised a “Field Trip to Nature” on 5th December 2025. The day began with visits to a few nearby religious and culturally significant places.These visits added a sense of calm and positivity to the day, setting a meaningful tone for the rest of the trip.Following this, the group headed to the Planetarium, where students gained valuable insights into the wonders of the universe. The next stop was Saalumarada Thimmakka Teak Park in Manipal, a space that highlighted the importance of conservation and environmental awareness. Students explored the parkand learned about Thimmakka’s inspiring contribution to nature.
The trip then continued to Udbhav Vintage Resort in Mattu, Katpady, where everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch together. The serene environment of the resort, combined with fun games and team activities, brought joy and laughter to the group.
Later, the group visited the picturesque Mattu Beach, where the gentle waves and beautiful sunset added a perfect ending to the day.
Overall, it was a day filled with spiritual reflection, exploration, learning, bonding, and a deep connection with nature. The trip created unforgettable memories and offered students a refreshing break from routine, encouraging them to appreciate the beauty and value of the natural world.
The 43rd issue of the college magazine "Spandana" was released by the Principal, Dr. Robert Rodrigues, on Thursday, 4th December 2025. In his address, the Principal emphasized the vital role of writing in both academic and personal growth, encouraging students to cultivate a habit of creative and intellectual expression by contributing articles to the magazine. He also highlighted how such platforms provide young minds with an opportunity to showcase their literary talents and critical thinking skills.All the magazine committee members, along with the teaching and non-teaching staff and students, were present and witnessed the occasion.
The NSS Unit of SMS College, Brahmavar organized a one-day special camp at Neelavara Mahishamardhini Temple to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.A total of 70 NSS volunteers actively participated in the camp. As part of the initiative, activities such as temple premises cleaning, environmental conservation, community service tasks, and awareness programmes were carried out. The temple authorities extended full support, ensuring the smooth execution of all activities.
The camp was conducted under the guidance of Programme Officers Mr. Prasanna Shetty and Mr. Prakash, maintaining discipline and coordination throughout the day. Co-programme officers Dr. Manjunath Udupa and Ms. Ranjini were also present and offered their support.The camp concluded successfully, strengthening the spirit of social service among the students and providing an opportunity to remember and honour the ideals and contributions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
ಎಸ್. ಎಮ್. ಎಸ್. ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸೇವಾ ಯೋಜನೆ (NSS), ಯುವ ರೆಡ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ (YRC) ಹಾಗೂ ರೆಡ್ ರಿಬ್ಬನ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ (RRC) ಅವರ ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಏಡ್ಸ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಉದ್ದೇಶ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ HIV/ಏಡ್ಸ್ ಕುರಿತು ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸುವುದು, ತಪ್ಪು ಕಲ್ಪನೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಿವಾರಿಸುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಹೊಣೆಗಾರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸುವುದಾಗಿತ್ತು.ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾoಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ. ರಾಬರ್ಟ್ ರೊಡ್ರಿಗಸ್ ಇವರು ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರು ಯುವಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಏಡ್ಸ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸರಿಯಾದ ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮನವರಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಹಾಜರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಲಂದೂರು ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್, ಹಿರಿಯ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಕ, ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರ,ಇವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ HIV ಹರಡುವ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳು, ತಡೆಗಟ್ಟುವ ವಿಧಾನಗಳು, ಶೀಘ್ರ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಲಹೆ ಪಡೆಯುವ ಮಹತ್ವ ಇತ್ಯಾದಿಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿವರವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಅವರ ಸಂವಾದಾತ್ಮಕ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸವು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಕುತೂಹಲ ಹಾಗೂ ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸಿತು.ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು NSS ಯೋಜನಾಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಅವರು ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಸಂಯೋಜಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ನಿರೂಪಣೆಯನ್ನು ದಿವ್ಯಾ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಸುಗಮವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿದರು.ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೇಯಸ್ ಅವರು ಕೃತಜ್ಞತಾಪೂರ್ವಕ ವಂದನೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ, ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು, ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
Artistia 2K25
The Humanities Association of Saint Mary’s Syrian College, Brahmavar, successfully organised “Artistia 2K25 – A Canvas of Culture and Creativity” for the B.A. students, bringing together a vibrant blend of talent, innovation, and artistic expression. The event, held under the IQAC initiative, witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across all semesters.
A variety of creative and intellectually stimulating competitions were conducted, including Craft Making, Model Making, Rangoli, Videography, Memory Test, Dance, and Fun Games. Each event showcased the imagination and skills of the participants, turning the campus into a lively hub of colours, ideas, and youthful energy.The programme featured two distinguished Chief Guests on the same day.
Mr. Daniel Monteiro, Retired Office Superintendent of S.M.S. College and Guinness World Record holder for the largest collection of bird-themed stamps, inaugurated the morning session and motivated students with his inspiring achievements . Dr.Jayaram shettigar a sepcial invitee , active member of alumini association and office superintendent Mrs.Voilentine Lewis and staff and students were present.The valedictory programme in the afternoon was graced by Mr. James Oliver, Retired Physical Education Director, Pompei College, Aikala, and alumnus of SMS College, who congratulated the students and encouraged them to pursue excellence in all fields.

Ashwin Shetty A., and Humanities Association Convenor Mrs. Helmina Mary Mamatha appreciated the efforts of the organising team and commended the active participation of the students.The event concluded with the distribution of prizes to the winners, over all championship trophy to the best performing class (I BA I Batch) ,which was sponsored by family of late John Richard Roche ,marking a memorable celebration of creativity and cultural spirit on campus.
Advaya 2.0
Under the guidance of IQAC, the Department of Commerce and the Commerce Association hosted the successful event “Advaya 2.0”, a new product launch competition. The initiative, “From Classroom to Marketplace,” provided B.Com students with an opportunity to present their product ideas creatively.
Mr. Shrikanth A. Poojary, Lecturer in Commerce, GFGC Manki, Honnavar, and Mr. Prashanth Shetty, Lecturer in Ancient History and Archaeology, SMS College Brahmavar, served as the judges for the competition, while Nikhitha of III B.Com A and Shreya of II B.Com B efficiently compered the event.
Principal Dr. Robert Rodrigues J appreciated the students’ efforts, emphasizing the importance of such events in fostering creativity and growth. HOD Mrs.Tweeny Maria Rodrigues, Convener Mr. Vighnesh Padiyar, and the Commerce faculty extended their full support, with enthusiastic participation from other departments as well.
S.M.S. College Organises Mehendi and Hairstyling Competition

The programme was inaugurated by the Principal of the college, Dr. Robert Rodrigues J., who addressed the participants and appreciated the initiative taken to encourage students’ creativity and talent.The competition was judged by well-known beauticians from Brahmavar, Mrs. Preethi Poojary and Mrs. Jyothi Poojary, who evaluated the participants’ work and announced the results.
Women’s Forum Staff Coordinator Dr. Vidyalatha and Secretary Amrutha Poojary were present during the event. More than a hundred students enthusiastically took part, making the programme a grand success.
