ವಿಶ್ವ ಪ್ರವಾಸೋದ್ಯಮ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆ :ಪ್ರವಾಸೋದ್ಯಮ ಮತ್ತು ಹಸಿರು ಹೂಡಿಕೆಗಳು' 

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಡಳಿತ ಉಡುಪಿ, ಪ್ರವಾಸೋದ್ಯಮ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಉಡುಪಿ ಇದರ ಆಶ್ರಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಗರದ ಟೌನ್ ಹಾಲ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ  27.09.2023ರಂದು ವಿಶ್ವ ಪ್ರವಾಸೋದ್ಯಮ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ಜರುಗಿದ   'ಪ್ರವಾಸೋದ್ಯಮ ಮತ್ತು ಹಸಿರು ಹೂಡಿಕೆಗಳು' ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯದ ಕುರಿತ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಸ್.ಎಮ್.ಎಸ್. ಕಾಲೇಜು ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರದ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಮತ್ತು ಪುರಾತತ್ವ ವಿಭಾಗದ  ಅಂತಿಮ ಬಿ.ಎಯ 20 ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡು, ಕರಾವಳಿ ಭಾಗದ ಪ್ರವಾಸೋದ್ಯಮದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಪರಂಪರೆಯ ವಿಶೇಷತೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡರು. 

ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ತರುವಾಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಉಡುಪಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕಾರ್ಪೊರೇಷನ್ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ನಾಣ್ಯ ವಸ್ತುಸಂಗ್ರಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ನಾಣ್ಯಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಜ್ಞ  ಹಾಗೂ ಕ್ಯುರೇಟರ್ ಶ್ರೀಯುತ ಜಯಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ರವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಂತರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ  ನಾಣ್ಯಗಳ ವಿಶೇಷತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಅರಿತುಕೊಂಡರು.

16/09/2023 ರ ಶನಿವಾರದಂದು ಸೈಂಟ್ ಮೇರಿಸ್ ಸಿರಿಯನ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರ ಇಲ್ಲಿಯ 2023-24 ರ ಸಾಲಿನ ಎನ್.ಎಸ್.ಎಸ್. ಘಟಕಗಳ "ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಾರ" ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು  ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಮಿನಿ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು  ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ. ಮಂಜುನಾಥ ಉಡುಪ ಕೆ. ಇವರು ವಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಹಳೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಧುಸುದನ್ ದೇವಾಡಿಗ ಇವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿ ಎನ್.ಎಸ್.ಎಸ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವ ವಿಕಸನದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹಲವು ಮಾಹಿತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಗೂ ಎನ್. ಎಸ್. ಎಸ್. ನಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಅನುಭವವನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಎನ್. ಎಸ್. ಎಸ್. ಘಟಕಗಳ ಯೋಜನಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಾದ ಮಮತಾ ಮೇರಿ ಅಮ್ಮನಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ  ಮತ್ತು ಎನ್.ಎಸ್.ಎಸ್. ಘಟಕಗಳ ಸಹಯೋಜನಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಾದ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ನಾಯ್ಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಸುಪ್ರೀತಾ , ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಹಳೇವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಾದ ಕಾರ್ತಿಕ್, ರಾಜೇಶ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮರ್ಥ್ ಇವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

On 15/09/2023, the HRD Cell of the College in collaboration with Manipal Technologies Limited, inaugurated Skill Development Certificate Courses. The event was graced by the presence of Rev.Ft. MC Mathai,Dr. Mr. Manjunath Udupa K,principal of the College,Director of Learning Innovations and Content Darshan Patil, Imaging Department Manager, Mr. Madhuchandra Kothari, Secretary of OSC Educational Society (R) college section, Mr. Alwaris D'Silva, Tweeney Maria Rodrigues, HRD Cell Coordinator of the college, and the student secretaries of the HRD cell Nisarga B Shetty and Nandita Pai Teaching, non teaching staffs,Students were present on the occasion.The program was eloquently narrated by Aifa.

ದಿನಾಂಕ 15/09/2023ರಂದು ಎಸ್. ಎಂ. ಎಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರದ  HRD Cell ವತಿಯಿಂದ Manipal Technologies Limited ಇವರ ಸಹಯೋಗದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಕೋರ್ಸುಗಳ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಸಂಚಾಲಕರಾಗಿರುವ  ರೇ .ಫಾ .ಎಂ .ಸಿ ಮಥಾಯ್  ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ. ಮಂಜುನಾಥ ಉಡುಪ ಕೆ, ಲರ್ನಿಂಗ್ ಇನ್ನೋವೇಷನ್ಸ್ ಆಂಡ್ ಕಂಟೆಂಟ್ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾಗಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀಯುತ. ದರ್ಶನ್ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಇಮೇಜಿಂಗ್ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮ್ಯಾನೇಜರ್ ಆಗಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀಯುತ. ಮಧುಚಂದ್ರ ಕೊಠಾರಿ, ಓ ಎಸ್  ಸಿ ಎಜುಕೇಷನಲ್ ಸೊಸೈಟಿ (ರಿ  ) ಇದರ  ಕಾಲೇಜು ವಿಭಾಗದ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಲ್ವಾರಿಸ್ ಡಿ ಸಿಲ್ವಾ, ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ HRD Cell ಸಂಚಾಲಕಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಟ್ವೀನಿ ಮರಿಯಾ ರೊಡ್ರಿಗಸ್ ಹಾಗೂ HRD ವಿಭಾಗದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳಾದ ನಿಸರ್ಗ ಬಿ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಹಾಗೂ ನಂದಿತಾ ಪೈ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದು ಅತಿಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿ,  ವಂದಿಸಿದರು.  ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿ  ಐಫಾ ಇವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.

Workshop on the Conservation of Medicinal Plants 

On the 15th of September 2023,  Workshop on the Conservation of Medicinal Plants took place in the SMSCollege Brahmavara.Workshop was organized by the Eco Club in collaboration with the NSS, NCC, Krishi Vigyan Kendra Brahmavar. Scientists from the horticulture department,  Dr. Raviraj Shetty, graced the occasion as the resource person.

Dr.Raviraj Shetty provided valuable insights into the various medicinal plants present in our environment. He also emphasized the crucial role that students can play in conserving these endangered medicinal plants. The workshop concluded with the inauguration of a Medicinal Flora initiative. In this endeavor, approximately 30 different varieties of medicinal plants were planted in the college environment.

ಎಸ್ ಎಮ್ ಎಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರದ ಇಕೋ ಕ್ಲಬ್, ಎನ್.ಎಸ್.ಎಸ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಎನ್.ಸಿ.ಸಿ  ಸಂಯುಕ್ತ ಆಶ್ರಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಔಷಧೀಯ ಸಸ್ಯಗಳ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಅರಿವು ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರವು ದಿನಾಂಕ 15.09.2023 ರಂದು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಕಿರು ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆರವೇರಿತು. ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾರವ ಕೃಷಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ತೋಟಗಾರಿಕಾ ವಿಭಾಗದ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳಾದ ಡಾ. ರವಿರಾಜ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಯವರು     ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಪರಿಸರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಔಷಧೀಯ ಸಸ್ಯಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತ ಅಳಿವಿನ ಅಂಚಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಔಷಧೀಯ ಸಸ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಪಾತ್ರದ ಕುರಿತು ಬೆಳಕು ಚೆಲ್ಲಿದರು, ನಂತರ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪರಿಸರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು 30 ವಿಧದ ಔಷಧೀಯ ಸಸ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಟ್ಟು ಔಷಧೀಯ ಸಸ್ಯವನವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಲಾಯಿತು

 ಈ ಸಮಾರಂಭದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ. ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ಉಡುಪರವರು ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಎನ್.ಸಿ.ಸಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯಾದ ಅಶ್ವಿನ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಎ ಹಾಗೂ ಎನ್.ಎಸ್.ಎಸ್ ಯೋಜನಾಧಿಕಾರಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಮಮತಾ ಮೇರಿ ಅಮನ್ನಾರವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಎನ್ಎಸ್.ಎಸ್. ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರಾದ ದೀಕ್ಷಾ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿ,ಕಾರ್ತಿಕ್ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿ, ಶ್ರೀನಿಧಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರತೀಕ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.

On September 13, 2023, the Department of Computer Science at SMS College, Brahmavar, organized a workshop on the topic of "Project Development."The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Manjunath Udupa K., the Principal of the college, who also presided over the program.Prof. Praveen Kumar K.  from St. Mary's College Shirva was the resource person for the workshop,who delivered an informative session on project development to the students.

During the event, Mr. Nagesh Pujari, the Head of the Department of Computer Science, was also present on the stage to lend his support and insights.Mr.Prakash Nayak ,Lecturer Department of BCA was the master of ceremony for the programme .The responsibility of welcoming and introducing the distinguished guests was expertly handled by Ms. Reshma. The event was made even more special by the heartfelt thanks extended by Ms.Supreeta, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Kavita, expressing gratitude to all the participants and attendees for their active participation and valuable contributions.

Saint Mary's Syrian College Brahmavara :The Inauguration Ceremony of the College Student Council  for the academic year 2023-24 was held on 13th September 2023 at the Dr B Vasant Shetty Memorial  Hall. The program was presided over by Rev.Ft. M. C. Matai. The chief guest of the program was Mr. Jagdish Navada, Principal of Viveka P U College, Kota, who addressed the students. Dr. Vidyalatha Director of Student's Council gave the introductory remarks, and Principal Dr. Manjunath Udupa K, along with Alvaris D. Silva, the secretaries of the college section OSCE, were present.

Student leader Avanish extended a warm welcome, and the vice-president, Ms. Apoorva, introduced the special guests. Vice-President Prateek administered the oath ceremony, and Secretary Meghana Pai delivered the vote of thanks. Ms. Nisarga served as the master of ceremonies for the event.

                        ಎಸ್. ಎಂ. ಎಸ್. ಕಾಲೇಜು ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಸಂಚಿಕೆ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ

On September 7, 2023, the college's annual issue of Magazine titled 'Spandan,' was officially unveiled. The Chief Guest for the program was Mr. Ivan Suaris, the Principal of SMS PU College Brahmavar,who released the issue, expressed that it served as a nostalgic reflection of the past and emphasized the significant role students play in shaping a comprehensive annual publication for any educational institution.

Dr. Manjunatha Udupa K., the College Principal, presided over the program and highlighted how the annual issue serves as a reflection of all the academic year's activities. He also discussed the various challenges involved in producing such an annual publication. Mr. Jude Alfeçed Furtado, the Editor, extended a warm welcome to all attendees and provided introductory remarks. Mr. Prakash Naik, Co-Editor, delivered a felicitation speech, and the narration was skillfully presented by Ms. Vandita Pai. Ms. Pouravi played a vital role in the event, and Mr. Kirti Shettigar, Convenor of the College Literary Association, along with Mrs. Violetine Lewis, Co-Editor, both Teaching and Non-Teaching staff members were present in the program.

ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರ:  ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಸೈಂಟ್ ಮೇರಿಸ್  ಸಿರಿಯನ್ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದಿನಾಂಕ 12.08.2023ರಂದು "ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಗ್ರಂಥಪಾಲಕರ" ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ. ಮಂಜುನಾಥ ಉಡುಪ ಕೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. "ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಭವಿಷ್ಯವನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯದ ಪಾತ್ರ ಬಹಳ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾದದ್ದು, ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯ ಬೆಳೆದರೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಭವಿಷ್ಯ ಉಜ್ವಲವಾದಂತೆ" ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಲ್ವರಿಸ್ ಡಿಸಿಲ್ವ, ಖಾಜಾಂಚಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಜೋಯ್ಸನ್ ರೋಡ್ರಿಗಸ್, ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಆಲ್ಬರ್ಟ್ ರೋನಿ ಡಿಸಿಲ್ವ, ಕಛೇರಿ ಅಧಿಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸೆಲಿನ ಬಾಂಜ್, ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ವರ್ಗದವರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸತೀಶ, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪ್ರಮೀಳಾ ಡಿಸಿಲ್ವ, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಎಸ್ತೆಫಿನ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ವರ್ಗದವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಗ್ರಂಥಪಾಲಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸುರೇಖಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.

ಎಸ್.ಎಮ್.ಎಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿ-ರೀಚ್ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿಯ ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ದಿನಾಂಕ 21/06/2023 ನೇ ಬುಧವಾರದಂದು ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ 2.30ಕ್ಕೆ  ಸಿ.ಎ, ಸಿ.ಎಸ್ ಕೋರ್ಸ್ ಕುರಿತ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಕಿರು ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ವಿ- ರೀಚ್ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಪ್ರಭು ಇವರು ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ. ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ಉಡುಪ, ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಘುರಾಮ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. 

ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಸಿ.ಎ., ಸಿ.ಎಸ್ ಕೋರ್ಸ್ ನ ಸಂಯೋಜಕರಾದ ಲೆ. ಅಶ್ವಿನ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಎ. ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ದೇವಾಡಿಗ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಸಂಯೋಜಿಸಿದರು.

In collaboration with SMS College Brahmavar and V-Reach Academy, on Wednesday 21/06/2023 at 2.30 PM, the first information program about CA, CS course was held in the short hall of the college. Mr. Santosh Prabhu, Founder of V-Reach Academy, was present as a resource person. College Principal Dr. Manjunath Udupa, Head of Department of Commerce Mr. Raghuram Shetty was present.The coordinator of CA, CS course of the college, Lt. Ashwin Shetty A. And Mr. Prashant Devadiga coordinated the program.

 

Saint Mary's Syrian College, Brahmavara : Fresher's Day

Saint Mary's Syrian College, Brahmavara, organized a Fresher's Day program on 26/8/2023 for all the first year students admitted to the college in the year 2023/24. All the students showcased their cultural talents and won appreciation. Renson, a postgraduate student and Mr.Arun Kumar Department of English, narrated the programme. The principal of the college is Dr Manjunath Udupa,Vice Principal Dr Vidyalatha, and lecturers were present in the program.

ದಿನಾಂಕ  29/08/2023: ರಂದು ಎಸ್ ಎಂ ಎಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜ್ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರದ  ಧ್ಯಾನ್ ಚಂದ್ ಸ್ಪೋರ್ಟ್ಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು .ಇದರ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ಆರೋಗ್ಯಕರ ಜೀವನ  ಶೈಲಿಯನ್ನು ಮೈಗೂಡಿಸುವ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸಾರುವ ನಿಲುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ  ಮುಂಜಾನೆ ಫಿಟ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ರನ್  ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು .

ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ,ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ,ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯ ,ಅಂತರ್  ಕಾಲೇಜು ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಸಿದ ಹಾಗೂ   ವಿಜೇತರಾಗಿ  ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಗರಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿದ  ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಯಿತು .

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು  ರೇ .ಫಾ .ಎಂ .ಸಿ ಮಥಾಯ್ ವಹಿಸಿದರು , ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಓ ಎಸ್  ಸಿ ಎಜುಕೇಷನಲ್ ಸೊಸೈಟಿ (ರಿ  ) ಇದರ ಪ್ರಧಾನ   ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಲೆನ್ ರೋಹನ್ vaz ,ಕಾಲೇಜು ವಿಭಾಗದ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಲ್ವಾರಿಸ್ ಡಿ ಸಿಲ್ವಾ , ಎಂ ಎಸ್ ಸ್ಪೊರ್ಟ್ಸ್ ಆಂಡ್ ಕಲ್ಚರಲ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ನ  ಸ್ಪೊರ್ಟ್ಸ್ ಸೆಕ್ರೆಟರಿ ಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಹೆರಿಕ್ ಡಿ ಸೋಜ , ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ .ಮಂಜುನಾಥ ಉಡುಪ ,ಕಾಯ್ರಕ್ರಮದ ಆಯೋಜಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ದೈಹಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ವೆಂಕಟೇಶ್ ಭಟ್,ಉಪಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಲತಾ  ,ಪ್ರೊ. ರಾಬರ್ಟ್ ರೊಡ್ರಿಗೆಸ್ ಉಪಸ್ತಿತರಿದ್ದರು . ಅರೋನ್ ರೋಚ್ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿ , ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಪ್ರದಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಭರತ್ ರಾಜ್ ಎಸ್ ನೇಜಾರ್  , ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ದೇವಾಡಿಗ ,ಶ್ರೀ ಅಶ್ವಿನ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ಶ್ರೀ ಅರುಣ್  ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರು  .ಸಾಗರ್ ಧನ್ಯವಾದ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿ,ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು 

On August 29, 2023, the Dhyan Chand Sports Club of SMS College in Brahmavara celebrated National Sports Day by organizing a Fit India Run in the early morning. The event aimed to promote the message of adopting a healthy lifestyle.

During this celebration, the college recognized students who have excelled in sports at various levels, including international, national, university, and inter-college competitions, thus enhancing the college's prestige.

The program was presided over by Ray Fa. MC Mathai, with the presence of key figures including Mr. Allen Rohan Vaz and Mr. Alvaris de Silva, general secretaries of the OSC Educational Society (R), Mr. Herrick de Souza, Secretary of the College Department, and Dr. Manjunath Udupa, the Principal. Venkatesh Bhatt, the Director of Physical Education, Dr. Vidya Latha, the Vice Principal, and Prof. Robert Rodriguez were also in attendance.

Aron Roach extended a warm welcome, and the award ceremony was skillfully conducted by lecturers Mr. Bharat Raj S. Nejar, Mr. Prashant Devadiga, Mr. Ashwin Shetty, and Mr. Arun Sagar. The vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Prashant Shetty, and Mr. Prashant Shetty narrated the program.
